Pine Cones

Dried pine cones make excellent kindling. Collect during the spring and summer and dry-out over the autumn. The natural oils in pine are concentrated in the seed cones and when completely dry (cones fully opened) are superb for fire lighting.

Use a few cones with 'Joiners Mix' you will have a well lit fire in minutes.

Traditional Kindling Sticks

We are also able to offer large nets of mixed harwood and softwood kindling sticks with deliveries of Joiners Mix and Blazers.

Kiln Dried Hardwood Logs in nets

Locally sourced hardwood logs dried to an average of 25% moisture content. Bags of 10 Kgs approx (either oak or beech). These bags are ideal for holiday cottages or where storage space is limited.

Price per bag £3.25 including vat and local delivery with a minimum order of 20 bags.
